I'm not in this photo (I was taking it), but my two girls, my daughter's boyfriend and I visited my father's church for Christmas Eve services. He is 76 years young and he was very happy we came.

I’m enjoying the photos and with the camera built into my new iPhone 11, I won’t need another larger device hanging from my wrist. Other folks produce excellent photos as well. I have wondered how to convert images from my DSLR camera. There must be a way! I do have thousands of images from which to chose. The files are too large. With my phone it’s easy. The phone automatically asks me the size of the image.

I speak of limited funds, and, yet, I own 3 DSLR cameras, 1 SLR camera, and lenses, 4 electronic flash, and 2 tripods, a couple dozen gadgets. So, I now own an iPhone 11, more than most people earn in a month. Where did Tai Shi get his money? Well, my wife gives me a modest allowance from my Social Security. I cannot show you some of my most beautiful photos because though folks on Treeleaf Zendo have tried to show me how to downsize, I learn better when the teacher stands with me. It took me a long time for passwords; I own much computer equipment. Where did the money come from? Some like my little Chromebook was paid for long ago when I was more extravagant. Finally, after many years, I understand some commands in Word, enough to have produced two books. Addiction burns deep, but I have some nice "stuff." Some was gift some was too much. I retired 10 years. It's time to learn. My wife watches over me, as do two sponsors. I'm addicted to credit, only now paying it off. I have beautiful photos you can hold. I love the pictures on this site and wish I could show you mine. The dog is wonderful as are the elk, the flowers, all the photos.

Thank you Jishin for you kind words for our kitty. She won't mind if I tell you she is my first mindful pet except for our Pokey beagle dog when I was a boy. Pepper has taken to me as she snuggles. About 10-yrs-old, she came to us, as all our pets, except our Dipster, from the shelter. Dipster was the runt from the neighbors' mother Beshan and terrier mix, dad a beagle. Dipster taught me about 10 yrs ago as I was very ill to be kind and loving toward animals. We all cried as he left us. Cinco followed, female who had cared for my mother-in-law until the woman died: she said she'd never own a dog. Long story again. Pepper took to my wife and me from the start, and except when she's not, she's a very caring tabby. She was about to be put down, we think, as we took her from the shelter. I feed Pepper a nice treat every morning at 5:00. I think the iPhone will be a good camera/ computer/ phone. But I miss sharing from my DSLR s. Maybe someday I'll get the hang of software.
