Aw thanks Jishin, I will tell her you said so! She is pretty darn pleased with herself. At least I got to take her to the salon, my older daughter chopped hers off by surprise in the bathroom one day and gave us all heart attacks.

Wow that's beautiful, yah it's kind of tough to be aware of all these little lives sometimes, isn't it? It's ant season, and I see people step on them on purpose when they are inside and it actually makes me a little nauseous.

My guess is that the spider is very aware that all things are impermanent. Just like weeding the garden, the spider will get right back to spinning a web.
