Our family had to say goodbye to one of our furry family members this morning. We got him as a pup in 2008, a few years before we started our family of 3. It is a hard thing sometimes to say goodbye to those we love. Even when they are our pets. Charlie was a good boy. He will be missed.

Very severe, tornadic storm that just missed us yesterday afternoon. We got grazed by another one later at midnight. Didn't know the storm was that bad when I took the photo standing on my lawn - got a phone call from my mom telling me to take cover shortly after snapping and uploading the photo to Instagram.

View from back yard. At 10’clock is my chicken coup and then the sun. At about 2’clock directly above the neighbor’s home is a small unidentified round object.

Little trivia on that. We published under the Treeleaf Publishing label, but through the Amazon self-publishing service. Someone who is not so good with math and measurements (me) clicked the wrong button for cover size. I did not realize that I had ordered the jumbo (as we used to say, "phonebook size") version until it arrived.

Anyway, it is certainly "large print" for ease of reading.

It's quite a nice size, though. Quite easy to read. That was a good mistake!

Alas, it is technically an Amazon publication. There is an older edition, but the 2015 "Expanded" (not with regard to the giant cover ) edition has an added section on my Dharma Grandpa, Niwa Zenji. Blackwell seems to have a copy, as does this place in UK ...

    https://www.bookdepository.com/Heart...ctCurrency=JPY

But these days, even some of these places are secretly owned by Amazon: Such appears to be the case for "Book Depository," although not for Blackwell.
