Enlightenment...The topic, the fantasy, the goal, the ideal...Inexhaustible.

It might be humbling for all of us to remember that, after all, the very thing is available everywhere. Nothing special.

It might be helpful to remember that enlightenment takes care of itself, it is none of our business. The path is our business. Nothing but the path.

It might be a good thing to let go for enlightenment is not for our own use, not personal, not at all.

All that matters is to walk the walk even if we are limping or can't bl..... walk straight.

I still rememeber this beautiful day of Fall in England where, out of a sudden, I threw away twenty years of expectation, to become this and do that, to be a great monk and Buddhist teacher...Just giving up in one big jump. What a relief!... Just to find out that very day in a telephone conversation that the transmission process had already started...


Today, I just walk.

Thanks for that...What a Relief!!! Even though "knowing" this somewhere in my mind and being, I tend to sometimes forget and allow me to become all bound up in "doing something" to make IT happen. It is far better to just pay the fare and ride the bus to wherever it is going, enjoy the ride and scenery and not worry about schedules and destinations. Just peregrinate as a pilgrim, open to the adventure.
