Thread: Kyosaku needed.

    Kyosaku needed.

This morning @ 4 am, I just couldn't shake the sleep, tried a cup of coffee before sitting, helped a little. Would be interesting if Sony would make a robot with the wooden stick for single-sitters like me. This use to scare the daylights out of me as a kid: http://<iframe class="restrain" titl...="0"></iframe>m (I remember it in a movie)

    Hi.

The wii fit has an "meditationapplication", maybe they could add an kyosakustick in the expansion?
Or would'nt it be fun if you could hook up something to the computer while sitting with jundo?

I just watched the video and HolyCrap! I knew that kind of thing went on, but to actually see it... anyway, robots are expensive, especially with branding like Sony. You should look in the phone book under "Escorts" and tell the nice lady to bring the Big Stick

Just hit me on the shoulders if that kind of humor is out of place...

Sadly, Sony doesn't do robots anymore, since that boring Welsh guy took over as CEO. No more upgrades for my beloved Aibo robot dog.
That was quite the reverberating SMACK. Must be the room they were taping that little video in.

    Hi,

I think my post got lost. The stick does sound very loud, but it does not hurt. It actually feels very good and gets the blood flowing to your brain. It feels a bit like if you slap your thigh (well MY thigh since it is quite plump) with a flat hand, it stings just a bit). People who do the stick are very carefully trained where ot aim (which is on the muscles at the top-center of yoru back on each side of your spine). But it is very loud. YOu should try it sometime, it is great in the afternoon at a long sesshin.

    cheers,
    rowan

This is a posting about robots, for robot fans ...

Treeleaf Japan happens to be located in a Silicone Valley like town (Tsukuba), and this amazing device is being built right down the road from here.

Yes, the name of the company is the same as in the movie Terminator, and the name of the suit is the same as in Kubrick's 2001 ... all intentional.

They already have a working prototype. They hope it will help the elderly and wheelchair bound walk in a few years. Yes, it could be combined with a Kyosaku ... but I would not think the results would be healthy.

I wonder if they'd build me one of these babies.
