That is breathtaking!
Thank you for sharing!

This is not my work, but the work of Gomyo, the Hoodie Monk. I thought some of the more hip-hop oriented among us (are there any rap fans here besides me?) would appreciate it.

try that again

Not a huge hip hop fan, but I can dig it.

Very nice, Greg! I especially like the "Prairie" picture, probably because I am a huge fan of Wile E. Coyote, the epitome of attachment and suffering.

A message and photos that Hans asked me to post ...
I AM HAVING SOME PROBLEM TO UPLOAD THESE. I WILL TRY AGAIN LATERI discovered a few nice photographs I took whilst travelling through the norwegian part of Lapland. Since I'll be on a sesshin with Doko Waskönig [a German teacher in Nishijima Roshi's lineage] from tomorrow onwards, maybe you can post them on our Treeleaf forum on my behalf as part of the picture thread?
Hope all is well with you. Big Gassho, Hans
Thanks Will!
There were several of these odd blue stones on the side of the road. My daughters and I were camping in northern Wisconsin in August, and as we rolled out of a state park, I caught a glimpse of these through the brush. I had to climb up onto one of them to get the picture- I definitely think it was worth it!

Nice Photos . . .
I'm gonna try now

Hi Greg,
You have to upload it to a host sight ... here is a good one ...
http://www.googlepages.com
then link to it here as you tried to do with the IMG buttons.
We have to make a note for the new TechFaq!

My 8 year old daughter and I were playing with waterthis was one of my favorite shots from that day...
I'm really enjoying the wonderful level of creativity everyone is sharing. I'll post another something in a bit.
Wouldn't it be fun to pick a day and time and have anyone who's interested take a photo at that day, at that time, wherever they are, whatever they are doing, then post it? Like a dharma moment in all our lives just to see what that "same" instant looks like through our varying facets of the jewel. (We could try to syncronize for the *actual same instant but I think our time zones are disparate enough to make Will have to get up at 2AM and take a picture of his blankies. :P )
Speaking of blankies, mine are singing a siren song and the four cats await. Nite.

That sounds like a very interesting experiment... throw a dart at a calendar and let us know the date/time you come up with... maybe start a new thread for this and repeat every so often....
Gassho,

my digital camera displayed its impermanence a month a go and im still waiting for it to return from repairs, so here is a few I've had sitting on the hard drive here @ work.

Same storm, with Artemisia chillin' on the window sill
Families cottage this past summer, a nifty sunset.
