Hope this is okay to post here. I closely follow topics of climate change and warming, but I'm not sure if it's okay to post them here without a direct correlation to the chapter topics.

From my perspective, the oceans are the womb of the earth, so I find this news especially distressing.

Thank you, Meian. It is scary that the oceans are warming, given the degree to which they are a huge heat sink.

It is interesting how phenomena such as La Niña can hide the warming. Well, at least for a few years...
