I am a novice priest-in-training. Anything that I say must not be considered as teaching
and should be taken with a 'grain of salt'.
The one thing we can do without any desire to be anything other than what we already are. Sounds so simple, but when take to the practice of Shikantaza, it lets us know how much we waver. But even in the wavering we just are...Shikantaza is, by nature, beyond compare, so it’s best not to compare it to anything.

Being a novice priest doesn't mean my writing about the Dharma is more substantial than yours. Actually, it might well be the other way round.
This is beautifully written (thank you Jundo) and very helpful.
