The official term for it is petrichor, it is caused my the rain and verious chemical compounds released from the soil and brought from the atmosphere by the rain. Earth, sky, and water to purify. Beautiful.

And sometimes in the winter, I can smell snow coming just before it starts to fall. I don't know if anyone else has this superpower but, yeah. I can definitely smell snow before it appears.
