The 96th of 108 Gates Of Dharma Illumination

    Gate Ninety-six
Read the following, place it in your heart and sleep on it. Then, tomorrow, live it until evening when you can leave a brief comment on what you may have received during the process.

To teach and guide living beings is a gate of Dharma illumination;for we ourselves neither indulge pleasures nor become tired.

To teach and guide living beings : The act of sharing knowledge.

By “Dharma Gate”, We mean a teaching or practice that can lead to spiritual growth: some kind of positive outcome in terms of our practice. A way to approach the truth.

    Koan:
"What do we teach? We teach the Dharma, living prajñā pāramitā.
How do we teach? We teach by our practice, living prajñā pāramitā.
Where do we teach? We teach in every place, right here, now, living prajñā pāramitā.
When do we teach? We teach whenever we are engaged in right thought, right words, and right actions, living prajñā pāramitā.
Why do we teach? We teach to save all sentient beings, living prajñā pāramitā.
Who do we teach? We teach ourselves, to attain the enlightened way, living prajñā pāramitā.."
