Do us all a favor, when you change your names, please put in your post footer for awhile "The Chikyou formerly known as 'Kelly'" or the like ...
... otherwise it sometimes gets confusing until we get used to the new you.

Clearly I’m not the only person wondering this then…
I’d like to start using my Dharma name, it’s Myojin.

Myojin (what was Dan)
Hi Chikyo!
I'm afraid there's a bit of a hiccup on the forum side of things. We have another Chikyo here who's already registered with the name, and the forum can't accept duplicate usernames. Would it be OK to change your forum username to Chikyou? You can absolutely still drop the 'u' everywhere else and use 'Chikyo,' of course

Hello
I would also like to change my account name.
I am Taihoku now.
Thank you and advance!

Hi Seishin,
I'm afraid you're also running into the same issue that Chikyo is, in that there's already a Seishin registered on the forum (and we're unable to have duplicate usernames).
I can update it to something else if you'd like, but I'll need to look into alternative options.

Heya!
This is the season of complex name change requests!
Alrighty, so I can change yours to the following, since Hozan is taken: Hōzan or Houzan. As Bion noted, Houzan is also correct—if you prefer not to type in the diacritical ō each time you sign-in.
Your choice!

Koushi

Hi!
If it is possible, could I switch to shinkon instead of Joeg. It is my part of my dharma name from my priest ordination last year.
Thank you,
shinkon

I thought it was time I changed my name on here to my dharma name. Please could it be changed to Huichan?

Hello,
In order to be better aligned with the convention around here, I would like to please change my name just to Austin. Thank you so much.

There is a very simple way to become Buddha. Do not commit unwholesome actions; be without attachment to life and death; show profound compassion for all sentient beings; respect those above and have pity for those below; do not have a heart of likes and dislikes, aversions or desires, nor thoughts and worries about things. This is to become Buddha. Do not search someplace else.

Hi Fâtih,
Yes, I think so. May I ask what is the name, and how you received it?

PS - Please don't forget to sign "SatToday" and "LAH/Lent A Hand" to your posts, Fâtih. Thank you. It keeps us focused on Practice here.
