    Very nice Zazenkai,

Sometimes we have to go to that side of life to fully embrace our practice I've found..... and put pain into right action.

Of which, I am doing a mental health training in 10 minutes for those struggling

Thank you everyone. I sat with you this morning.

Is it just me or was there a serious difference in volume between Washin and Jundo today? I have to wear hearing aids which connect right to my iPad. I found I had to turn the volume almost to the top to hear Jundo. On the other hand Washin was loud and clear as always.

Thank you everyone for sitting together. I found the conversation in the tea time to be very moving, and I would like to thank everyone who shared.

When thinking about finding beauty even in the ugliness of the world I consider my partner of eight years.
Her father passed away about a year and a half ago from cancer. They found it late and she hadn't much time to prepare herself, if it is something one can prepare for.
Loss is a terrible thing, but I find tremendous beauty in her strength to stand tall and persevere. I know her father would be very proud, and I find beauty in that also.

Thank you again to everyone who sat and shared, for your strength and in for helping me come to this realization.

    Sorry to run long.
The deepest of bows to each of you,
    William

Not just you, definitely a big difference. Even without the higher volume, Washin's is a resonant voice that pierces right through!

As per Sekishi's advice, when performing with voice and instruments I use Zoom settings with the 'original sound on' (the upper left corner button) to get a better quality of sound. Maybe this is the case I appear so loud.
    Just a thought...

    Hi Washin

You weren’t too loud. Jundo was way too quiet this week but Jundo indicated there was some technical non-glitch on his side.

I love your chanting and bells.
