    'Heart Sutra Handpan Remix'

The priest's name is Yogetsu Akasaka. He is Soto. His father is a temple priest, and Yogetsu became a priest a few years ago to eventually take over the family temple. He spent time in Australia, the US and elsewhere. He has a bunch of recordings, most Buddhist themed.

Here is an interview in Japanese, but the machine translation is okay.

This is his temple in Fukui Prefecture. Apparently, they like cats, and are famous for taking in and nursing sick strays.

I have tried to get in touch to invite him to Treeleaf, but so far no luck. I will try again.

Thank you Jundo, Sekishi, everyone; it was wonderful to sit, see, and practice with you all. That heart sutra really was a vibe, as the kids say. Loved it.

    Have a great weekend,

I sat this with all you wonderful people, I just have one question for Jundo:

    So... Is reality a 7-11 or a Motel 6?

Thanks Jundo, Sekishi, and all. I sat Zazenkai early Saturday here.

For no particular reason I’ve been looking forward to sitting Zazenkai this week, so thank you everyone, I sat with you this morning.

That was a great Heart Sutra. Great vibe. Very hypnotic. It is wonderful to see all these different interpretations and instrumentations.

I sat this in instalments, thank you Jundo, Sekishi and all.

I don't think we have 7-11s here but I somehow knew what it meant. Probably too many 80s teen movies.

You could get gas, snacks, and other basic items in a 7/11.
not necessarily in that order; the gas was mostly from the hot dogs and other tasty snacks
