    50/108 Gates of Dharma Illimination

Whirling washing machine, shrilling cartoon on TV, humming road traffic.
    Hammering my head.
    Resistance to noise intensifies migraine.
    I sit Zazen.
    Body and mind flow.
Whirling washing machine, shrilling cartoon on TV, humming road traffic.
    The sound of Silence.

Amid all that clamor, you find silence in Zazen; beautiful

We meet the world through the senses, as the sensory world IS our world. Where else could we practice the Dharma?

    As we sense the world
    We live it
    Where else could we be?

    Gassho,
    Seikan

Our sense organs at least show us how to ask: Are we doing it right?
