    Peace Sits April 28

    Metta to you all, Dear Sangha;

    I would like extend an invitation to all Treeleaf members to join the "peace sit," an online shikantaza sit open to everyone and all faiths and nationalities on April 28 starting at 9:00 a.m. EST and continuing until 11:00 aa.m. a.m. Please Please join for all or just part. There will be four 25 minutes zazen session punctuated by 5 minute breaks.

    The idea for a "peace sit' was inspired by Domyo Burk's Zen Studies Podcast # 32 on "Not-Knowing," and the life work of the late Joseph Goldstein and Zen Peacemakers International. Please listen to Domyo's "Zen Studies Podcast Episode # 32," it is inspiring! https://zenstudiespodcast.com/not-knowing/ Information about the "peace sits" can be found at https://zenstudiespodcast.com/peace-sits/.

    I would be honored if each of you would consider joining the "peace sit." I would consider the first peace sit an overwhelming success if there were 5 participants. A border transcending participant from outside the US would be stellar!

    Thank you all for considering participating. Gassho----Dan Kingsley

    Hi Dan,

    I will make sure to make our Zazenkai during that week a "Peace Sit" too. It sounds like a very worthy happening.
