    Karōshi (過労死)

I havenít posted much the last few months due to travel and work, but at least todayís word is not applicable to me. Karōshi (過労死) Is the word, originating from Japan, for overwork death.

    Best to avoid that.

A problem in some Buddhist monasteries too.

The story, however, makes the point that most of this poor Shingon monk's duties seem to involve catering to tourists, so there is some question if it was actually part of training.
