    I saw this movie at Antaiji,that express life of Antaiji.

    Apparently it's about a (famous?) German actress who goes to Antaiji to see what all this zen stuff is about...

    Having wondered about the release of this film since Konan originally posted, I tracked down the director's email and contacted him about its distribution. He responded with the following:

    the DVD of ZEN FOR NOTHING will be released beginning of november in germany and switzerland - including english subtitles. available also via amazon.de.
    looking for american distributor...

    Hello,

    amazon.de started shipping the DVD and I received it yesterday.
    I really like it. Down to earth and not over-aestheticized and not over-intellectualized, like so many of the "Zen"-movies, I've seen.
    As a Fred Frith fan, I enjoyed the music/sounds in it, too.

    edit: at least in amazon.de it is available for streaming ("amazon video" https://www.amazon.de/Zen-nothing-Le.../dp/B01MXE4GH5 )
