gassho Jundo, I was working at the National Museum of the American Indian at 1 Bowling Green Thursday and Friday last week. You guys must've walked past the building at the foot of Broadway- hope Leon got to see it's magnificent front entrance. Will you be coming back to NYC? when/ where? travel safely,

    gassho, oheso
    and neither are they otherwise.

    Hi Oheso,

    I felt your presence!

We will be back briefly from the afternoon of Thursday July 31st to Saturday night August 2nd, staying at the Westside YMCA. Sunday, August 3rd, I will be in New Jersey where Daijo has kindly arranged for me to sit and speak with Genki Kahn Roshi's Sangha there. Maybe we can meet somewhere in there.

    Hey Guys,

Made it to Dosho's place in upstate New York. We had a little informal sit of 30 minutes. I was very wobbly, as jet lag seemed to hit me. Please remember and come sit with our Zazenkai in the morning here. KellyRok will be here to sit too.

My heart is so full, yet it is hard to put in words.

What a wonderful 2 days it has been...a truly beautiful experience, a time of practice, conversations between friends like we've done it for years (and we have), lots of laughs and watching our boys play together for the very first time. I'm so happy to have had this opportunity to practice with you all.

Jundo and Dosho, please have a safe trip to Canada/Niagara Falls - give Jakudo, Daizan and Shokai a big hug from us. Enjoy each other's company!

"Some may understand this practice as seeing how long we can go without firing a shot, or being hit, transcending winners and losers. But the way of the Buddhas and ancestors is to know lasers firing, and hits scored, to see that green and red lasers are only different colors, not separate, not two. Playing together, expressing the game itself, bowing and shouting Pew pew!"

    Wonderful! Thank you.
