Published by Numata Center for Buddhist Translation and Research in 2007-2009, with the exception of minor stylistic changes and romanization of all Chinese and Japanese characters per the requirements of the BDK English Tripitaka Series, these beautiful volumes are the the same Gudo Wafu Nishijima and Chodo Cross translation of Shōbōgenzō that is published under the title Master Dogen’s Shobogenzo, Books 1-4.

Good stuff! Let me mention that I am presently getting ready for re-issue a book called "A Heart to Heart Chat with Old Master Gudo" that I translated many years ago, but which went out of print when the publisher folded. I am also going to add to it a new translation of some writings of Nishijima's Teacher, Niwa Zenji, which I recently found.
