What time do you get up Kyonin for your run? Lovely photo!
Deep bows
Yugen
I always get up at 4:30 AM, even in weekends. Yes, I know I'm crazy :D
For weekdays runs I get out at 6:30 AM. For weekend runs I get out at 6:00 AM because training takes longer.
One of the little things I enjoy is watching sun rise while listening to birds, to my breathing and your my pounding the pavement :)
Gassho,
Kyonin

Archbishop Grigoris of Rhodes (1912) and Gary Lawless, friend of Gary Snyder and Nanao Sakaki (2013). My back deck, celebrating Orthodox Easter, Haiku, and Classical Greek verse. Mixing cultures, metaphors, and just having fun. Realizing in the end we are all the same.

This pond is directly across the street from our house. I walk by here with Rogers everyday, this morning I actually noticed it.

This is a nature walk about 10 miles from the house. We just discovered it but it's going to become a regular spot for us.

It’s that time of year again in Holland. Lots of walks with the kids! Funny detail: a lot of orange this year in preparation of the coronation of the new Dutch king had a few weeks ago. ( even the Japanese emperor and his wife ( !!) attended. I actually saw them, will they behead me now?) Nature decided differently and icy winds kept it all underground. Too little too late but still beautiful!

My partner and protector. He's going to retire in a couple weeks. Now its my turn to protect him.
Attachment 1009
He's coming home to live the rest of his life with your family? Very cool if that's the case. He doesn't know anyone as well as he knows you, that part is certain.
Enkyo, I've seen pictures of those tulip farms and the looks simply amazing, though I think their effect on my allergies might be disasterous.

I they sell him to me for one dollar and we will live together for the rest of his days

Wow! Some wonderful photographers in this sangha! I've not had a chance to check out all the pics yet, but so far my favorite is the one of the sign saying to "leave your regrets here".

Here's the first Buddha from the Idyllwild Wood Carver:

Oh that is the rather portly Maitreya (also known as Hotei or Pu Tai), the future Buddha. More about him here ...

I know my photo doesn't look ok, but in the giant screen he was using anti flu spray, and encouraged people to take pictures of him doing so, laughing all around....something like this
