Hello All,

Please 'sit-a-long' with our weekly FRIDAY/SATURDAY 'LIVE FROM TREELEAF' 90 minute ZAZENKAI, netcast LIVE from 9am Japan time Saturday morning (that is New York 7pm, Los Angeles 4pm (Friday night), London midnight and Paris 1am (early Saturday morning)

... and to be visible at the following link during those times and sit-a-long-able any time thereafter ...

As you can see, our Zazenkai consists of chanting the 'Heart Sutra' in English (the words are at the link below), some full floor prostrations in sets of three (please follow along with me ... or a simple Gassho can be substituted if you wish), followed by our Dedication, Zazen twice for about 30 minutes each, with 10 minutes of Kinhin in between, and we end the sitting with 'The Verse of Atonement' and 'The Four Vows'.

If you have been sitting since the top of the hour, make sure to do some kinhin. Do the same at the top of the next hour.

Sometimes, we need to be reminded that Zazenkai does not happen on Google Plus. It happens in the here and now. It happens in this moment, which we all share together. I see all the usual faces tonight. We sit together enough that I know what you look like and I knew that you were on a zafu beside me. I am grateful for your practice and your support.

I set a timer and followed the schedule. Recited the Heart Sutra, the Verse of Atonement and the Four Vows. During the second period of Zazen, my little girl kitty, Echo, chanted a Sutra of her own in the hallway for me. I hope you all enjoyed that.

Thank you all for your practice. Although we did not see each other, I understand that when we sit Zazen, we sit with all Buddhas and dharma ancestors, and I have never seen them either. All is Buddha! _/|\_

Sorry about that. I tested the system twice this week, and it was working. There is something about the conditions today that were different and I need to figure out.

Good to sit with you all. Martin, one of our sitters in Tsukuba, was also sitting with me in the Zendo today.

Thank you everyone. It was a nice sitting with you, and yep Eric you're right, when we sit everyone sits. And wow, 43 Shinzan? That's awesome. I thought there wasn't even one.
