DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE IN NORTH AMERICA!!

Please 'sit-a-long' with our weekly FRIDAY/SATURDAY 'LIVE FROM TREELEAF' 90 minute ZAZENKAI, netcast LIVE from 9am Japan time Saturday morning (that is New York 8pm, Los Angeles 5pm (Friday night), London midnight and Paris 1am (early Saturday morning)

As you can see, our Zazenkai consists of chanting the 'Heart Sutra' in English (the words are at the link below), some full floor prostrations in sets of three (please follow along with me ... or a simple Gassho can be substituted if you wish), followed by our Dedication, Zazen twice for 30 minutes each, with 10 minutes of Kinhin in between, and we end the sitting with 'The Verse of Atonement' and 'The Four Vows'.

Right, thank you Jundo for reminding me that.

It was a wonderful sitting, but I had to do a "Sitting kinhin" in my office chair because of a second degree sprain in my left ankle (note to self: I'm not so young anymore and rock concerts are best seen from the stands, not jumping surrounded by teenagers)

I usually give a short talk for the people attending in Tsukuba, often in Japanese or both English and Japanese if we have Japanese folks attending. However, I try to say it softly just for the folks there. In fact, it is basically the same as in the sit-a-long talks, so no reason to listen and probably something you have heard 10,000 times before.

Sat with the recorded version today but then had to stop after the first round of zazen and kinhin because I realized I didn't have as much as time as I had originally thought :oops: :oops: :oops: (note to self: plan ahead a little better).

Anyway, I plan to sit the second round tomorrow 6 am Philippine time (GMT + 8 hours) on Google Plus if anyone's interested to join.
