LIVE ZAZENKAI NETCAST at USTREAM:

But FEAR NOT if not possible for you to join 'live' in your location at those times, as the entire sitting is recorded in 'REAL TIME' and available for full participation 'on demand' at any time after that, no different from the 'live' sitting :

'REAL TIME' recorded 'ANY TIME' version link is here:

OUR 90 MINUTE SITTING SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

00:00 – 00:15 CEREMONY (HEART SUTRA in English ONLY) and Dedication

00:45 – 00:55 KINHIN
00:55 – 01:25 ZAZEN
01:25 – 01:30 FOUR VOWS, & VERSE OF ATONEMENT

As you can see, our Zazenkai consists of chanting the 'Heart Sutra' in English (the words are at the link below), some full floor prostrations in sets of three (please follow along with me ... or a simple Gassho can be substituted if you wish), followed by our Dedication, Zazen twice for 30 minutes each, with 10 minutes of Kinhin in between, and we end the sitting with 'The Verse of Atonement' and 'The Four Vows'.

Please download and print out the words of the Chants we will recite at the following link:

So, please join us as soon as you can, and we will keep a Zafu open for you.

Remember, when we drop all thought of 'here' 'there' 'now' 'then' ... we are sitting all together!

Couldn't make it all the way through -- I was very sleepy. But happy to have tried for the first time.
Thank you, Jundo, Jundo's kesa and everyone.

Thank you! That was the first time I heard the pronunciation of Tathagata. I've only read the word; I've never heard it.

I came in late live, just after the Heart sutra, so I did that part on tape just now as part of my Ango PM activities.

Sat with my own timer (the computer can be noisy) and I'm the only college kid I know up at 9 am on a saturday :P

Many many bows to all of you, and to all the thoughts, worries, and to do's that ran through my head,
Taylor

Hello,
Sat today with an american tourist guy, or was it Jundo? Very pleasant sitting. I wore my visible Rakusu today, I'm so frightfully British about these things, don't you know

Gassho all

Had to sit (and chant, and walk,) with the recorded version because of work, but it was great, and Jundo, I appreciate the teaching, and I get it. Thank you.

Hello friends,

I'm a little 'behind' on the Zazenkai's, but I've sat the first 30 minutes of this one, in addition to my morning service. I'll finish it tomorrow as part of the service.

Much metta,

Perry
