Our Zazenkai this evening marks the start of our Jukai (Undertaking the Precepts) season of sewing and Precept study ...

Please 'sit-a-long' with our weekly SATURDAY 'LIVE FROM TREELEAF' 90 minute ZAZENKAI, netcast LIVE TODAY from 10pm Japan time (that is New York 9am, Los Angeles 6am, London 2pm and Paris 3pm, SATURDAY) ...
... and to be visible at the following link during those times ...

OUR 90 MINUTE SITTING SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

00:00 – 00:15 CEREMONY (HEART SUTRA in English ONLY) and Dedication
00:15 – 00:45 ZAZEN
00:45 – 00:55 KINHIN
00:55 – 01:25 ZAZEN
01:25 – 01:30 FOUR VOWS, & VERSE OF ATONEMENT

As you can see, our Zazenkai consists of chanting the 'Heart Sutra' in English (the words are at the link below), some full floor prostrations in sets of three (please follow along with me ... or a simple Gassho can be substituted if you wish), followed by our Dedication, Zazen twice for 30 minutes each, with 10 minutes of Kinhin in between, and we end the sitting with 'The Verse of Atonement' and 'The Four Vows'.

I'm not sure yet if I will be able to sit "live" for this Zazenkai, as I am down at my Abbey for a week or so. If schedules work out I will be there with all of you to begin the Jukai "season"; if not, my spirit and good wishes will be with you "live" and my seated butt will be with you later.

I am still having major problems watching the recorded zazenkai videos. When I click on the link I get I get the USTREAM page with a black box where the video should be. It tells me that the channel is offline.I have updates my flash and switched off my firewall but still no video, I am using firefox but I get the same result with IE. Jundo once told me that technology was my koan and how true thsat is! :( :?

Hi Bill,

There are no right links or wrong links in a Buddha's eyes ... but I think you are clicking on the wrong link. You are clicking on the link for the live netcast, which is "off the air" other times.

Scroll down the first posting in this thread, and you will see a link that says ...

Unfortunately I was using the right link. But all is now well – I completely uninstalled flash on my computer and reinstalled it and miracle of miracles everything seems to be working as it should. :D
