Good thing I saw Joe's post. I had the date-line thing backwards. How arrogant was that; thinking the sun rose and set on Nova Scotia?
Anyway, I rushed to join in. Not sure what happened though. My "login" failed. On second try my screen froze. Nothing went "wrong" though. It just went.
I will join all of you on the re-run.
Gassho,
Don

Gassho! Nice to sit with you all. Head was up in the clouds, asleep against the wall, turbulent. Times such as these make, "It's all good practice" come through gritted teeth :)

Thanks Jundo and everyone sitting.
It was going well until the battery clunked out on the first bell for zazen!
Hope to be there Thursday too.

I was unable to be online "live" but joined the "on demand" version today, it was my first Zazenkai and I was really glad to join. I still have to learn the chants and how to properly prostrate but all in all I enjoyed the experience and look forward to joining you all next time.
Gassho Jundo and I hope your back will heal soon!

This is the first zazenkai I've ever attended, and it was a good experience!

I must confess I had a laugh when the cat wandered in, meowing for attention. My own cat was doing the exact same thing not five minutes before. What an interesting connection between my time and place, and yours.

Looking forward to the next one (and must remember to feed the cat first).

Gassho,

Jennifer
