I know it's not exactly on topic but I'm just curious if there are any chess players on the forum and if anyone is interested in getting a game or two going?
If anyone is interested and it's ok with Jundo I have a link to a free browser based server.

No need to even ask! (But, alas, I myself play nothing more than checkers)

About to go to work right now but you can still challenge me, just set the game for enough time between moves to allow for schedules.
Great is the three days per move ok with you. i will be quite busy for the next few weeks? maybe we could fit a full game in one go later on.

Perfect Plankton. It's your move btw.
I know what you mean Harry. I do own a Go board, but I'm lost as to the more subtle points of the strategy.
I'd also like to learn Shogi.

I should have said that I stink at Go as well.
I also stink at Go. Perhaps we can all stink at Go together?

The only Go server I can think of off the top of my head is at Yahoo games. I'll take a look around and see what I can find.
*edit*
given the reviews posted at the go wiki this one looks like a good possibility.

you do have to download the client.
This one is browser based, but apparently you can add the software to an external webpage

still looking...

Take your time and do what you need to do. When you are ready you know where to find me.

Yes, the KGS server is a nice place to play. I used to play there once upon a time, though I was and still am a newbie. I'm not so much into chess, but if anyone is interested in a game of Go I'm willing to give it a go. ;)

I play go on KGS, where I'm currently 4K. I've been playing for a long time, but haven't played much in recent months because of health problems. I play under the name Dogen (yep...), so if you ever see me, say hi.
