I've recently (through BoingBoing) found a Flickr site with this interesting collection of photographs (http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlcarl/sets/72157600870584070) from Los Vegas' neon graveyard. For some reason, I find these images of discarded signs and statues quite poignant.
Strangely, I find the jumble of bright colours somewhat reminiscent of a Tibetan sand mandala in the process of destruction. I'm probably just being overly sentimental though - I get that way. :?
