Hello all,

We will be meeting Sunday, August 14th at 9:30am New York City Time (6:30am Los Angeles California, 2:30pm UTC) to practice Oryoki. Shingen will be leading the chanting this time.

All are welcome! (Don't worry, it will not be recorded:))

Could we possibly do a session sometime that is recorded? Not the actual eating of course, but the ceremony with the chants, minus the instructions. If that makes sense.

Nope, what ever you like. Usually you will see one main dish for the Buddha bowl, a side dish for the middle bowl, and soup or tea for the small bowl. But again, all up to you. =)

If you have never tried Oryoki and would like to, this is a great, no pressure opportunity.
