SIT-A-LONG with Taigu: Fresh wisdom

Don't become a living clutter, a collection of piled up items.

Practice is meant to free you out.

When freedom is, wisdom blooms.
I don't get wisdom from quotes, books, or experiences.

from this moment,as is, it comes.
And often it doesn't.
And I could not care less.

Do you want to be like a pretty dead dry fish
of just alive, fish in the sea, sea in the fish, sea-fish boundlessly here?

We don't need insight.
We don't need whaou moments.
When they happen, let them happen. They will soon vanish.

In just being, no insight:

the seen and seing are one.

Re: SIT-A-LONG with Taigu: Fresh wisdom

Many thanks.

One of my creative writing teachers once told me something like this: When you're doing intellectual activity, do intellectual activity, but when you're writing or eating or jogging, just do those things and drop the intellectual, over-analyzing nonsense.

Can't point to when spring springs but one can walk in the warmer sun.

A pile of collected things.
A heap.
Five Skandas.

Today's delicious fish,
So fresh and tasty,
Will rot if not eaten,
The freshest food,
Is nonetheless dead,
It stinks if not replenished

Taigu,

Thank you for this teaching...I suddenly have an urge to clean out my head, but I'll drop that too and just sit.
