Those round things protect the bridge from direct hits so it doesn't fall down like the one before this.

1980*collapse. The southbound span (opened in 1971) of the original bridge was destroyed at 7:33 a.m. on*May 9, 1980, when the freighter MV Summit Venture collided with a pier (support column) during a blinding thunderstorm, sending over 1,200 feet (370 m) of the bridge plummeting into Tampa Bay.

He's a golden-tipped British Shorthair.

And this is Rosalind, our kitten, which we got in December. She is Titus's half-niece; we got them both from the same breeder. Rosalind is a black-tipped British Shorthair.

Titus the Cat looks very cute from a distance. But from a close up he looks pretty evil. Look into his eyes. They seem to say I will devour you without thinking twice after torturing until you are good and dead. I don't know what to make of Titus.

LOL, yah so true ... now we feel your pain. =)

We are in the rain melt now, but they were saying on the radio that this is the most snowfall we have had since 1986. We had over 56+cm over the five days, but 30cm just on Wed. Put away the snow shovel and bring out the rubber boots!

Oh yes the Origami Buddha, I made it when I sprained my ankle a month ago It is a design from the great Hojyo Takashi

I wasted some common paper sheets to do it, and the hands of it are not really finished, as other details, but I couldn't find any Origami paper

Anyway, here is what I used:
