How To Cook Your Life - Sundance Channel

    Hi all,

I just saw that the Sundance Channel is playing the 2007 film early Wednesday morning Eastern Standard Time (New York) at 3am, but also on Sunday at 11am. I don't know if many people can get that channel, but in case anyone has access I wanted to mention it. I have it set to record as I only caught the last ten minutes of an earlier showing. Here's the link with info:

    And the film's website:

Hope some folks get a chance to see it!

I agree, it's a good watch. I got the DVD last year around this time of year. Espe is an interesting character.

And, for those who have Netflix, it's available for streaming. I enjoyed the movie very much.

... and it is very much about the Tenzo Kyokun ... "Dogen's Instructions for the Cook".

I recommend it to everyone if you can find a copy.

I have this on my DVR and still watch it occasionally. I loved how they showed that (I cannot remember his name, but he was the main person they focused on, the chef) after 30 years of practice he still gets angry, frustrated, liked pillsbury ( ) Just brillant!
