Heart Sutra Talks on the Sit-a-Long have begun ...

    Hi,

For the "SIt-a-Long with Jundo" daily sittings ...

    http://treeleafzen.blogspot.com/

... I've now begun (with no beginning or end, of course!) a short series of talks on the " HEART SUTRA " (The Heart of Perfection of Wisdom Sutra). Please be sure to give a listen, and 'sit-a-long'.

For those who do not know, the "Heart Sutra" is the following, and is cherished by Mahayana Buddhists of almost all schools for its shortness and sweetness, yet infinite depth of meaning ... It is what we chant at the start of our Saturday 'Zazenkai' and at many other times (I try to chant it every day).

By the way, Will did a great version of the "Heart Sutra" awhile back that is our 'official' Treeleaf tune ...

    Jundo,

I'm looking forward to your talks. Thanks for posting the link to Will's song. Now that I finally got DSL, I am able to finally listen to it.

Will, nice job! I really enjoy the Heart Sutra (I'm listening to it as I write this), as well as Crunchy Sweet.

    Best,
    Keith

Sorry guys. Some problem at Ustream that has been popping up these last couple of weeks.

Well, the subject was the Bodhisattva Paramita (Virtues), which includes "patience" and "tolerance" ... :|

... in other words, please wait. I have noticed that most of the delayed netcasts do eventually become available in a day or so.

    Gassho and Apologies, J

I had the same issue, and just emailed Jundo about it, but I was able to watch them all just a few minutes ago on the Ustream TV website.

No, the most recent one does not seem to be working there either. It will work soon. Gassho, J
