I think mic is on by default when you enter the room for the first time. I always found when the word MIC is faded, it is off... because it was colored when Irina prompted me to turn the mic off.. eheh.
Plus, it was colored when I was "attempting" to chat earlier today.

    i've already read it.

    it says:

"When you join a room, your mic is turned OFF by default. To turn it on, hover your mouse over your own image and the MIC text will appear in the upper-left corner. Click it so that it is highlighted green, your mic is now ON."

but, i don't know why, it's not my case. When i enter the hall the MIC text is already present and it is yellow. So it seems to me that the MIC is ON by default.

    I've read this:
When hovering the mouse over the video, several clickable text
buttons will show. Explained below. "MIC" is default ON.
Press "MIC" to OFF when finished talking to prevent echo.

by the way, if I will be reproached I'll learn how it works ops:

Mebeam seem to have changed the system since Skye wrote that. Now your mic is on when you first enter

I guess someone will need to edit that FAQ then, eh?

I will check with Skye on this. I thought something was funny with the instructions, which is why I have had a devil of a time getting the sound to work sometimes.
