Sittin Hall technical problems?

I experience technical problems each time I come into our Sitting Hall (for 3 days now). I can't see my own video, only a mystical blue screen. I can't see other's videos either. Are you guys having similar problems recently?

This is what happens before you "allow" connection.
When you are in the room can you see a white box in the centre of the screen? You may have to scroll down a bit to see all of it. It should say Adobe Flash Player at the top of it. There is an "allow" button which you need to click to confirm you want to go live.

I hope this works but failing that it might be worth checking your updates?

My Flash player is allowed to access my camera and microphone, but still, no luck...

Odd as you were there a few days ago when you said you'd been doing your house work :lol:

I've not had this problem. My only problem is with the often very long delay and freezing pictures.

Hey Agata and Will, had to drop out of that sit, sneezing fit and runny nose... atleast you wont catch anything LOL!

The mebeam site says this for Macs. Apparently try it even if your camera is built in, as it has made a difference.

Note for Mac users:
Click the Settings control at the top right corner and click the small
webcam tab, and make sure that the 'usb-class' webcam is selected.

Also click on settings (bottom righ of your pic) or righ click on pic if it's not there.
Check that it has the right camera selected.
the right mic /source selected.
you have ticked 'allow' and remember' to use you camera and mic.

Other than that I don't know. You'll have to check your own computer setting for your camera.

I mute my mic anyway when we go to sit to save any embarresment like yapping dogs :lol:
