    Online Shobogenzo

This comes from Shasta Abbey and I think it has only been online for a few days:

Forgive me if this is already posted elsewhere, but I thought it would be of interest to this community.

    Hi Laura,

We did have a pretty long chat about it.

You have caught me on a day when I am on a roll against "fluffy" Buddhism and "hocus-pocus" Buddhism. Just a coincidence, I think, because of a series of posts by folks that touched on those issues [like that "Little Buddha" movie clip]. But I am a bit critical of this translation too for reasons not unrelated to all that.

    Gassho, Jundo.

Thanks, I guess I need to spend more time on this forum. I just hadn't read the earlier thread.

Please feel free to delete this thread; there's probably no need to have two discussions on the same topic.
