I'll be there. Room for kinhin in the basement now too. Unless it floods, which it has a habit of doing. In that case... swimming kinhin.

Let me also note that a lovely small calligraphy was donated by our Shokai, and will be kept in our Zendo from now on. It will be featured as well during today's Zazenkai. It is from the Heart Sutra, and reads ...

... 無罣礙 ... no attachments nor hindrances ...

Let us dedicate it to Shokai's wife, Lillian, who is in hospital today ...

Well, last week we all got in but Shingen could not. This week, Google+ decided to balance the scales.

Lovely Zazenkai. Thanks to Jundo and to all who sat along with the live feed.

Thank you all for your practice. Deep gratitude for Sawaki Roshi, Nishijima Roshi, our teachers, this Sangha, and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas throughout space and time! Much love and Metta for Nishijima's family, friends, and students and to Lillian and Shokai.

How different we each are, and how varied our difficulties, and yet how connected we all are, even in our darkest hour.

    Nine bows to all.

Well, you guys were there in heart.

This week, I invited the "Treeleaf Sangha" Circle at the beginning (and again during Kinhin). Check you Junk box to see if the invitations are landing there.

Also, I notice on Youtube that Michael's face in not visible at the bottom of the screen even though I could see him during the Hangout.

    All good!
