Thanks for the unexpected plug! And thank you all for your good will.

If you like the book, do leave a positive review on Amazon. And if you don't like the book, well, there is the honoured position of silence in our tradition...

    ... only joking.

Just finished reading these 108 songs and the treasure chest is wide and wild open. Journey with its moments, faces from yesterday and closer, rags chewed by time and light, panels of the boundless robe.
    Thank you, brother.

    Improvised song for Myozan

    Truly wonderful mountain.
When I gave you this name
    I could catch a glimpse
    Of this selfless poor majesty
    Whispering with birds and brooks
Cloaked in clouds, mists and insect racket
I could see the treasure in the pebble
    The staff in the twig
The robe in the green foliage
    The first time we met
I knew the taste of mountain
Beyond doubt and time and space
    A whole embracing body
    Being sat
    And
    Welcoming
    All things.
The sharp edge of its rocks
    Shimmering in Kannon' s light
Living poems thrown in the wind
A place rustling with poets of old
Faces and places crossed and freed
I could see the suffering of your child
Your suffering in Mara' s dance
    When you first disappeared
I could follow your footsteps in the blind night
    Mountain walking
    Mountain sitting
    Mountain singing
    Just-being-Mountain

Guys, in the name of Buddha ... stop it! This is getting embarressing. Really. I am no jewel. You should see my cranky ass trying to get the kids to school some mornings. Not much shining there. I just hope you like some of my poetic efforts, scribbles ... whatever you want to call them.

Thank you all for your kindness and teachings. Now ... lay off the jewel thing, you jewels!

    Hi,

I just finished reading (can such ever be finished?) Myozan's book of poems, and I wanted to give a little bump. Lovely, and much of the imagery is stirring. I am no poet like Myozan and Taigu, but the book made we wish that I was. Lovely.

Myozan captures life, the terrain of Ireland, Zen Practice and 10,000 things in ways that sometimes made my heart skip a beat. I recommend the book to all, especially our poetry fans at Treeleaf.

FYI Upon searching multiple ways it appears, at least at the moment that your title is missing from Amazon. None of the links here or through a Google search seem to be working. Maybe a temporary glitch but thought I would mention it so others can verify.
