    darkness to daylight to darkness
    meltwater dripping from the roof
    tires spinning in mushy snow
    snow plows rumbling far off

    bird song in japan
hungry ghosts wailing in the wires
    moonrise with dogen
    full moon for hakuin

    pots and pans reciting gathas
    dishes laundry
    baking sewing
    samu doing samu

    yugen's deep bass
    taikyo's laughter
    good friends seen and unseen
    where were the ladies?

sitting bowing to all with all
    altogether fabulous sangha
    lovely smiles
    thank you and OK!

I still have yet to sit the retreat...I'm behind this year. Between rounds of sickness and spinal issues, sitting hasn't been possible. Hope things free up soon.

Thank you Shingen and Jundo for your concern! I'm okay really, just normal back issues I deal with from time to time. Just a lot uncomfortable to sit for very long, but it's getting better.

The sickness hasn't just been me though (bad cold that turned into bronchitis), it seems my poor kids have caught everything in the last two months . My youngest missed 3 days this week with a nasty intestinal bug.

All parts of practice, things will change for the better soon. I think maybe I'll tackle the retreat after next week.

    No worries...

    Gassho,
    Kelly/Jinmei

    Hi
I haven't have the the pleasure to sit rohatsu yet either. A 30years birthday party for my girlfriend, a 200 m2 roof and a 2 years old daughter and of course Christmas have put everything else aside.
But tomorrow January 1-2 I have manage to get two day free.
    I think it's a great start of 2014.
Thank you for the recorded version
    See you on Friday.

    Thank you All.
    Thank you Taigu and Jundo.
Thanks to all supportive family's, mine and yours.

I must say that this was a perfect start at the 2014. A lot of thoughts and "aha's" has bloomed. And one good thing that come to me was that it has not to perfect. That's the perfection in its self!

    I bow through the floor,

    Gassho, Björn
