    Hi Thierry

Many years ago, thirty years maybe, Thierry died.

I was a stupid young Zen priest, he had a terrible throat tumor.

He died in the most incredible way, and I could not understand anything. I thought I understood.

    Blissful ignorance.

He loved the following song from a French pop singer, little did I realized at the time that it was also flled with Dharma:

    it says this:

    neither Hell nor Heaven
    will set us apart

    this is the song:

and yes the video is quite erotic and ...well.

It is as is. beautiful. True.

Thierry was a guy who received Jukai when I was in my twenties. He was a very dedicated sitter. A nobody like me. Just a bloke sitting.
He died because of cancer and he loved this song. And I think that this song is moving and true.

In Mexico this is a most perfect time to remember and let go all those who transcended this plane. This week we celebrate Día de los Muertos.

I'll sit for Thierry and all victims of cancer (like those in my own family).

Thank you for posting this, Taigu.
