    Here. Now.

I awaken from a deep sleep.

    Where am I?

Slowly I realize where I am.

I am in my bed. I am in my bedroom. I am in my house.

I feel fear. I feel anxiety. I feel afraid.

I begin my morning. I make my oatmeal. I pour my juice.

Meal chant. Breathe. Eat oatmeal. Drink juice.

My house is so messy! How can I tackle so many chores?

I feel stresesd. I feel overwhelmed. I feel disatisfied.

Sitting. Not trying to let go. Going. Gone.

Fold laundry. Wash dishes. Watch Sesame Street (with kids).

    Here. Now.

    No I. No my.

    Here. Now.

Fear and anxiety flourish in dark spaces- exposed to light they evaporate
    like so many shimmering illusions

Thank you for your courage Dosho. You inspire us.

Very nice Dosho! I especially like the play between “I feel fear. I feel anxiety. I feel afraid. I feel stressed. I feel overwhelmed. I feel dissatisfied.” and "Sitting. Not trying to let go. Going. Gone." Thanks for sharing!
