I was looking forward to playing some music tonight; instead I caught the get-slim-in-a-night bug. Will probably be there if my legs stop shaking until then.
Every day is a good day, right?

Thank you, every-one. Sada is doing okay. They put her in just to give her an IV and be cautious. She should be home in a couple of days.

Sada is home from the hospital this morning! She is doing well. Thank you everyone.

She had something called "Mycoplasma (walking) pneumonia", which can be pretty mild except in little kids and others susceptible.

    Gassho, J

PS - A small side note ... but perhaps amazing to many Americans. The bill for her 5 days in the hospital, excellent care with all the drugs and physicians was the equivalent of $60 US (yes, not a misprint). We do pay an annual health insurance premium to the government of several thousand dollars, which slides by income level.

Thank you for the update Jundo and glad she is doing well.

This is a great example in health care ... do not understand why other countries cannot adopt the same approach.

    Jundo,

Glad to hear Sada is home. My oldest had exactly the same thing a few years ago and narrowly avoided the hospital. He was acting very "loopy" before we took him in to see the doctor, but once he was medicated and hydrated he was just fine after some rest. Sounds like Sada is on the same course!
