Evan Allmighty

I went to see this movie today with my mother and I have to say, it was pretty good.

One thing I would like to bring up though is the comment that is made by "God" ( Morgan freeman) to Evans Wife ( her name escapes me at the moment).

He mentions how when people ask god for courage, god gives them an opportunity to be courageous. When people ask for more faith, he/she gives the person an opportunity to be more faithful.

So it got me thinking...When people complain that their minds aren't quiet and that they can't find inner peace, shouldn't we tell them that Meditation doesn't bring you inner peace; it gives you the opportunity to find inner peace.


By the way, if anyone knows of the Noah story , can someone confirm if ARK is really an acronym for " A random act of Kindness"?

I have not seen this movie, but I believe the movie avoids that point and the hilarity takes place in the building of the ark and events involving Noah/Evan before the flood. Maybe Murah can clarify this.
