Great interview Jundo!
I think one of the most wonderful things about practicing here has been that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week I can get the support and fellowship to support my practice.
Thank you for that.
Gassho,
Dokan

Re: JUNDO INTERVIEW on SweepingZen PODCAST
That was awesome! I really do love this sangha. I'm very proud that this is my sangha, and I really really liked when the interviewer asked if we sew our own Rakusu or purchase them. I don't know if it's Buddhist, but I take a lot of pride in that Rakusu. To me that is a great barrier to entering this way. I also love the calligraphy on it, and the lineage chart.. the whole thing.
I really just love it.
Gassho for this place Jundo and Taigu (and all the techies and unsui too :) ),

Re: JUNDO INTERVIEW on SweepingZen PODCAST
Wow - that was a brilliant interview 8)
I really liked the part about how we have lost the art of communicating through the written word and that despite
all it's modernity a major aspect of the internet is a return to the epistolary form.
Just the past few weeks so many important threads seem to be coming together here. Taigu's teaching
about 'listening' resonates, because there is a kind of silent space that opens up between Treeleaf members,
in the gap between sharing a thought and receiving feedback. An opportunity to both give and receive within that space.
.... and taking the guidance to allow that space to breath a little.
Heart to heart and mind to mind - it's all good.

Re: JUNDO INTERVIEW on SweepingZen PODCAST
Woaw! That was a very nice interview, very dign and proud... come on scream you "Dharma lion"!
But seriously I really like Jundo said about the practice and, maybe more, aboiut the way we do things... an open and warm space but also a serious place where things are clear (I mean about practice).

That is so true, thank you for that thought!
Risho is also very right, I also loved the part of the talk about sewing, very sincere and joyful!

Re: JUNDO INTERVIEW on SweepingZen PODCAST
Jundo made an interesting point about how you can actually know people online as well as in real life. Given how much we discuss, and how many different topics we cover here, it's true that, over time, our posts do make a picture of our selves.

Re: JUNDO INTERVIEW on SweepingZen PODCAST
Thank you Jundo for sharing the interview with us. Once you're part of it the "virtual reality" of internet sangha becomes your own reality.
