1/1 zen seeds p. 122- 127
Hi.
Improvement should begin with oneself & Fear of criticism is unworthy
As the contributor of this week (and last) i sit down on sunday evening, after the Treeleaf teaparty, in front the screen trying to find something to say, and then it hits me.
Look not at the faults of others,
At what they have done or left undone;
Rather, look at what you yourself
Have done or left undone.
(Dhammapada, verse 50)
Thoughts, feelings, confessions? :wink: :D
Thank you for your practice.

Where do you begin?
Where do I begin?
Where does it end?
:D
Re: 1/1 zen seeds p. 122- 127
My boss has put me on an indefinite break due to her health. She is not sure if she will be able to keep up. However, yesterday my Mom found an ad on Craigslist that looked like it might be from my boss looking for new workers. It upset me and filled me with thoughts of confronting her and asking what I could do to continue working for her... then I decided to let it be and wait for her to contact me. I was filled with anger at what looked like an attempt to fire me without telling me, then I stepped back and asked myself if it would do any good.
If she found me unsatisfactory, it was probably my own fault. I can just pray for another chance and try to do better.
